Support Skyview Robotics

One Program. Two Teams. Building the Future of STEM.

As one of the largest robotics programs in the Pacific Northwest, Skyview Robotics is home to more than 90 students and 30 mentors dedicated to innovation, teamwork, and real-world STEM learning. Our annual operating costs exceed $75,000, and while students raise nearly 40% through fair share fees and fundraising, we rely on community support to keep the program accessible and thriving.

Why Your Support Matters

It takes significant resources to equip our students and teams for success—everything from team shirts and safety glasses to tools, robot parts, and travel expenses. We also provide scholarships to ensure that no student is excluded due to financial need.

Your donation directly supports:

  • Equipment, tools, and build materials

  • Competition registration and travel

  • Meals and supplies during the build season

  • Student scholarships and outreach programs

The Bigger Picture

Our society often celebrates athletes and entertainers, but it’s scientists and engineers who drive the innovations that improve our world. Unfortunately, not enough young people in the U.S. are pursuing STEM careers to meet future demands.

That’s where FIRST Robotics and Skyview Robotics make a difference. Founded by inventor and visionary Dean Kamen, FIRST—For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology—hosts international robotics competitions that challenge students to solve complex problems through creativity, teamwork, and technology. Guided by mentors from local industries, our students gain the knowledge, confidence, and real-world skills needed for the careers of tomorrow.
